PP1 Due 27 March | Steps 1-3 Only

Use these student work checklists to provide authentic feedback on student work in our Global Issues and Learning programs in a variety of settings, including out-of-school time. These checklists simplify the Future Problem Solving step-by-step evaluation process for all. No evaluator training is needed. With these tools, you can provide consistent and reliable scoring for student work throughout the year, including step lessons, step activities, and practice booklets.
As your students progress, so can the checklist you use to assess how well your students demonstrate learning and to drive continual improvement for growth. Use the checklist level most appropriate for the age and experience of your problem solvers.
The checklists include short yes/no check points for each step of the problem-solving process. Each check mark recognizes the presence of a key attribute within a step so you can easily identify areas of strength and those in need of improvement. While much less involved, the checklists correlate well with the rubric-based evaluation used to evaluate the quality of students’ work in Global Issues competitions.
