FPS is an international educational program for students of all ages, focusing on the development of critical, creative and futuristic thinking skills. It is one of the few academic competitions in Australia that enables students to compete internationally.
The program challenges students to address major global issues and equips them with the skills and vision to shape positive futures.
Developed in 1974 by creativity pioneer Dr. E. Paul Torrance, Future Problem Solving (FPS) provides competitive and non-competitive programs for today’s curriculum via a 6-step model. More than 250,000 young people internationally participate each year in the Future Problem Solving Program.
